i promise to keep you posted with reasonably worthwhile material

i used to love to write. still do, it looks like. i also have been studying so many interesting things, it's time to start sharing more. please bear with me as i get up and running as i'm a little rusty - but topics on the way are raw veganism, spirituality, raw veganism in relation to spirituality, and so on. i'll try to keep it clean and fun despite the title of this blog.

fitting start date for a former pothead, what can i say, i know how to pick 'em.

well, i am writing about going raw because that has been one of my biggest priorities in the last 2 years and it's a lot

harder than i thought it would or should be!!

so i'm hoping that sharing my journey will help me and help you.

why raw you might ask if you haven't been bitten by the raw bug yet? easy, 3 letters - roi. return on investment for the

lucky ones who didn't already know that acronym. because it seems more and more clear that for a relatively small

investment of effort/resources, you (I) get a huge return.

i've been struggling with food, nutrition for a while and during the course of my health store hauntings saw a book called

'your right to be beautiful'. well, the title caught my attention but the content really got hold of it and when i started

experimenting with raw, i was really blown away by the results.


so yes, the title of my blog may offend, but i actually mean for it to be humorous more than anything. i was reading some

article describing various archetypical bad dates and one was the Health Whore. i can't remember exactly but the way the

writer introduced that term cracked me up and has stuck with me ever since.

i also take it seriously - i mean the difference between good and bad health is utlimately, literally life and death. ok,

let's just stick with night and day if you prefer. in any event, you ought to get the idea by now.

so this is my latest good hobby and obsession. i invite you to join me and share support and good health. excellent health.
